BAK Helicopter Correspondence Course This exam is required prior to obtaining a General Flying Progress Test (GFPT). If you can't find time to get to our in-house helicopter theory courses then our PPL or CPL correspondence courses are the ideal solution for you. Both courses assume no prior knowledge and will take you all the way from BAK (Basic Aeronautical Knowledge) level up to your choice of PPL or CPL. The complete package includes comprehensive colour notes, maps, charts, workbooks, exams, handbooks and other relevant information. If requested, we can also supply navigation equipment such as the WAC ruler, protractor and navigation computer. Both the PPL & CPL courses include extensive revision exercises and mock exams with answers. You also have on-line assistance available from the college's experienced flying training staff. Our full-time instructors include ex-RAAF Central Flying School Flying Instructors with rotary wing experience including winching, sling ops, ship deck landing qualifications, low flying, night flying, instrument flying, formation flying and high density altitude operations. The CPL course can be purchased as individual modules or complete course. The courses have been designed to meet the standards required for the CASA exams.
