HYPOXIA AWARENESS TRAINING COURSE

Gradual loss of cabin pressure, a defect in the oxygen supply system or failure to pressurise from take-off causes an insidious hypoxia that continues to claim lives on average once every two years.

Early detection of hypoxia without practical training is extremely difficult and aircraft warning systems can be missed or ignored.

Now there is a safe and practical hypoxia education experience that increases the awareness and early recognition of a dangerous hypoxia event.

The Western Australian Aviation College operates the GO2Altitude® normobaric hypoxia eduction system. This system allows the individual to experience their own individual reaction to the subtle, yet rapid onset of hypoxia in a safe and controlled environment.
